Our Stained Glass classes are designed to teach you how to really do a complex stained glass panel so that you have the knowledge and skill set to build any panel regardless of size that you would be proud to display anywhere. I have patterns here that fit all the criteria; however, you are welcome to bring a pattern of your choice as long as it fits all our criteria: At least 50 individual pieces, must not be all straight lines, should be approximately 10″ x 14-16″ in overall size (large enough that the pieces are not real tiny A bit larger is ok too as long as it doesn’t take up too much table space).
The classes run one night per week starting at 7pm for a total of 6 weeks. Each night runs until 9:30 but can go longer as needed. The cost of tuition is $150 for the 6 weeks. If you have no tools, there is a basic beginners kit that has everything you need to complete your first project except for glass that you will need to purchase. if you have tools already but are missing something, you will be able to purchase them here with a 10% student for life discount. You will need to choose and purchase the glass for your project. We have scrap bins where you can get some of your glass at $5 per lb. Other glass is at retail price less 10% student for life discount which students receive as a life long discount on glass and other supplies once they have paid their class tuition with just a couple exceptions.
We only take 4 people maximum per each class partially due to space constraints but more so that I can give everyone enough personal attention so that any mistakes can be corrected immediately and before becoming wasteful.
