A Reflection in Glass is owned and operated by Del Giffin who has been making stained glass items and windows professionally since 1982. In 1990 he added Sand carved glass to his product line. He originally started his business in Coos Bay, Oregon and moved it to Eugene, Oregon in 1984. In 1993 he moved the business to its current location in Boise, Idaho. Del does all his own design work. Bring him an idea and he will design a beautiful window for you.

Stained Glasss Art Requires Expert Skill

We make all sorts of stained glass items which includes windows, window hangings, sun catchers, gift items, decorative clocks and lamp shades. For external windows we can make both stained glass and etched glass panels into insulated units. For existing windows, we can install the panels behind the insulated units. We do both methods of stained glass. For extreme detail we use the copper foil method and for more traditional designs we us the caming method. You will find many examples of both methods in our photo gallery.

“We offer a wide range of etched glassware, including military designs. If you don’t see the emblem or unit patch you want, just ask—there’s never an artwork fee for military pieces. We also offer deep quantity discounts for orders of 12 or more. Personalization on mugs is free and can be added to most glasses. Additional graphics on the opposite side have a small extra charge. You’ll be able to order directly from our store once it’s live, and more examples will appear in our gallery as it’s completed.”

Learning stained glass creation combines artistic expression with hands-on craftsmanship, allowing you to design and build vibrant, lasting works of art.

“Our classes teach you to design and build stained-glass panels. Use one of our patterns or bring your own (min. 50 pieces, curves or angles, approx. 10″ × 14–16″).
Classes run once a week, 7–9:30 PM for 6 weeks. Tuition is $150. Beginners can buy a starter kit (glass sold separately). Students get a lifetime 10% discount on tools and glass. Scrap glass is $5/lb.
Limit 4 students per class for focused instruction.”
